Fairy fort in Abbeystrowry: circular earthen bank, twenty-one metres across, with a five-metre gap to the east-northeast and a man-made underground passage inside. It sits atop a rock spur in pasture, facing east. The name suggests people once believed the fairies lived there, but the passage and bank show human hands shaped the place. Perhaps it was a boundary marker, a shelter, or a warning not to dig where the ground already knows the way down.

In pasture, atop rock spur, on E-facing slope. Circular area (21.8m N-S; 21.5m E-W) defined by low earthen bank (ext. H 1.1m). Gap in bank to ENE (Wth 5m).
