What is recorded here

One chamber held a complete urn, a small dish and a knife. The other contained a broken urn and charcoal. Those are the facts. What the chamber did, who built it or whether it marked a boundary, remains unknown. The road was built anyway.

Excavated in advance of construction of the N9/N10 Kilcullen-Waterford Road (Excavation Licence number E2591, site B, area 1), a number of pits, postholes and areas of burning were found close to two Bronze Age structures (see CW007-137---- and CW007-138----).
