What is recorded here
Excavated (E3492) during 2005 by D. McCullough as Site 30 at Raheenagurren West, which was one of the excavations undertaken in advance of the construction of the N11 Arklow-Gorey link-road. A few small pits (diam. c. 1-1.5m; D 0.1-0.4m) were recorded. The pits were filled with deposits, some of which contained broken and burnt stone. No burnt mound or trough was identified, although it may be outside the tested area. (McCullough, D. 2008)
