Chapel frame housing estate in County Dublin contains a hidden Bronze Age battlefield. Grading a stream bank exposed ditches, and removing the eastern edge released a flint arrowhead lost since early antiquity. The estate now occupies land where arrows once flew, turning ordinary residence into a chamber for forgotten violence.

This site was excavated during grading of a stream bank that surrounds the open space of Chapel frame housing estate (Licence no. 07E0409). A series of ditches were excavated including a banked ditch. On removal of the E bank (13m long x 1.33m wide) of this ditch a flint arrowhead of probable early Bronze Age date was recovered (Giacometti 2007, 33).
