In reclaimed pasture, 15m NW of Morningstar River that marks townland boundary with Camas South and 140m SE of a ring-barrow (LI031-114----). Not depicted on historic OSi maps. Site (No. 2/31/1) recorded as a ‘brushwood layer’ and excavated during work associated with Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraghleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline (Gowen 1988, 180). No surface remains visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 and Google Earth orthoimages. Site has been fully excavated. Compiled by: Fiona Rooney Date of upload: 1 April 2021
