Situated on an E-facing slope. Identified and excavated in archaeological testing (03E1174) in advance of the R710 Waterford outer ring road (Hegarty 2006b, 501-02). A single large, flat-bottomed pit (diam. 1.6m; D c. 0.28m) contained some carbonised hazelnut shells.
