What is recorded here

In wet pasture 30m W of the Ahaphuca River that marks the townland boundary with Cullane South. Shown as a circular enclosure on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. It is depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. c. 25m) enclosed by a bank from NW-NE reduced to a scarp elsewhere. Monument is clearly visible as an oval-shaped area (dims. 26m NW-SE; 21m E-W) enclosed by a bank on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
