What is recorded here

Situated on level ground at the NE foot of a steep slope with gentle slopes below the site to the NW. Circular enclosure (diam. 14m) defined by a partly levelled earth and stone bank (Wth 3m; H0.3m). There are two gaps, one at the SE (Wth 1.2m) and another at the S (Wth 2m). No visible indication of a fosse or internal features. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 December 2008
