What is recorded here
Enclosure in Thomastown West is the surviving SE portion of a low circular platform about fifty metres across, set in gently undulating pasture in County Kildare. It may mark a ringfort, though only a shallow curve remains visible now. Cattle may have walked over it for centuries, softening the edge until the land itself forgot the shape.
Described in 1986 as the SE portion of a low circular platform (diam. c. 50m), situated in gently undulating pasture land, and possibly a ringfort site (SMR file).
