What is recorded here

Situated in a fold on a S-facing slope of the Skeanada river valley. It is marked only on the 1907 edition of the OS 6-inch map. This is a grass-covered subrectangular area (int. dims 17.7m E-W; 7.9-12m N-S) defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 2.5-3.5m; int. H 0.9-1.4m; ext. H 0.2-0.7m) with some trees on the perimeter and an entrance (Wth 1.2m) at W. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).
