What is recorded here

In improved pasture, on a gentle SE-facing slope. Rectangular enclosures (TS062-156---- and TS062-157----) are located c. 3m to E and c. 30m to NE respectively. A rectangular area (dims. 18m NW-SE; 15m NE-SW) defined by a levelled bank which is reduced to scarp (Wth 1.5m; H 0.15m; L 15m at NE; 15m at NW; 19m at SW; 15m at SE). The remains of a possible fosse (overall Wth 3.6m; basal Wth 1m; D 0.15m) are visible to SW. The interior slopes to the SE. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
