In pasture, on break in NNE-facing slope. D-shaped area (straight side c. 40m E-W; projecting 26m to S) defined by low scarp ESE->SSW; earthen bank (H 1.6m) SSW->WNW; steep scarp to N. Remains of ruined limekiln in bank to WSW. Field boundary crosses interior on NNE-SSW axis. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
