What is recorded here
In improved pasture, bordered to E by boggy ground.
Listed in the RMP (1997) as a possible enclosure on the basis of a roughly circular cropmark, truncated on W side by a straight field fence, visible in an aerial photograph (GSI M 98 -7; Roll 213, pr. 30; SMR file).
This feature corresponds on the ground with a roughly circular shallow depression (diam. c. 18-20m; max. D c. 0.5m at SE) bordered by a low natural rise to SE. The depression is not sharply defined; the surrounding ground grades seamlessly with its sides. The NNE–SSW field boundary has been removed. There is an irregular-shaped hollow c. 25m to NW.
