Situated adjacent to a low cliff at the E side of Killala Bay. Trapezoidal area (36m N-S; 32m E-W at N end, 17m at S end) defined at W by the cliff edge and elsewhere by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth. 2.3m; H 1m) with suggestions of a possible external fosse at NE. Original entrance not recognisable. In the NE quadrant is an irregularly-shaped depression (max. dim. 6m; D 0.7m) of unknown significance. (ITA Survey 1942-4).
