Enclosure in Rathbrack (fore By., Moylagh Par.)

Situated on a rise in a low-lying landscape. This is a circular grass-covered and domed area (diam. 53m NW-SE; 49.5m NE-SW) which reaches its highest point inside the perimeter at SW. It is defined by a scarp (at SW: Wth 2.1m; H 1.8m) which is incorporated into a field bank with some bushes NNW-ESE. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. The interior is overlain by NW-SE cultivation ridges. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987).
