
What is recorded here
On top of a low rise of ground in flat grassland at the foothills of the Slieveardagh Hills with good views in all directions. It is depicted as a circular enclosure on the 1st (1840) ed. OS 6-inch map. The barely visible outline of this levelled enclosure consists of a sunken circular area (diam 26m N-S; overall diam. 40m N-S) defined by a low rise of ground (Wth 7m; ext. H 0.10m; int. H 0.10m).
