Roughly oval area (diam. c. 30m E-W; long axis N-S) visible as patch of lighter-coloured vegetation in aerial photograph (GSIAP, W413, July 1975). Field fence shown on 1935 OS 6-inch map immediately W of site now levelled. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
