What is recorded here
A curvilinear cropmark identified as the fosse of an enclosure (diam. c. 40m) on an aerial photograph (CUCAP AJQ027, 9 July 1964). On the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map and on the 1947 revision the roughly circular monument is respected by a curving kink in the townland boundary which runs along the SE-S portion of the enclosure and by a slightly curving field boundary which runs along the W sector. The remaining portion of the enclosure, from NW-NE had been levelled by 1839 but appears as a cropmark in 1964. Two other enclosures (KK023-019001-; KK023-019002-), also visible as cropmarks, are located c. 370m to the W.
