Enclosure in Mogeely — Report the wrong picture

Mogeely enclosure is a univallate ring of earthworks on a south-facing slope in County Cork, Ireland. Cropmarks reveal its irregular shape and possible internal structures, while a nearby ringfort and linear features suggest a busy settled landscape. People may have farmed, sheltered or marked territory there before the field changed hands and purpose. The soil still holds the shape of that older life.

In tillage, on S-facing slope. Cropmark (AP, Dr. D.D.C. Pochin Mould) shows irregular univallate enclosure, with possible internal structures. Possible ringfort (CO066-058---) a short distance to W. Linear features (CO066-075---) also visible in field. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
