What is recorded here

Enclosure in Milltown (coshma By.) is a hidden boundary in reclaimed wet pasture beside the entrance to Milltown House, County Limerick. It appeared only in an aerial photograph taken for a gas pipeline in 1984, then vanished from later satellite views. The land may have swallowed the marks, or the marks may have belonged to a season when people still lived there.
In reclaimed wet pasture, along entrance to Milltown House. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Possible enclosure identified during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/10,000, 60) taken 03/11/1984 on Bórd Gáis Éireann gas pipeline. No surface remains visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 or on the Google Earth orthoimages. See attached Google Earth orthoimages and BGE 1:10,000 No. 60.
