What is recorded here
Marked on the 1st and 2nd editions of the OS 6-inch map. There is now no sign of this 'Fort'. It was situated on a peat covered rocky plateau 21m N-S in a landscape which suggests a cashel. It commanded excellent views of the Mournebeg river valley.
