In elevated pasture fields, which slope down gently to E and S. According to local information, one of four (13525, 13626, 13627) small circular enclosures (diam. c. 30ft) roughly in a line; all four are bisected off-centre to S by E-W field boundary. Low earthen bank, which once enclosed interior, levelled as a result of ploughing; visible in dry conditions as cropmark on both sides of fence. Area planted with trees; no visible surface trace of site. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
