Situated on a slight rise of ground in flat pasture with good views and nearby enclosure sites (TN048-027, TN048-028) to the W. A townland boundary in the form of an earth and stone bank (Wth 1m; int. H 1.2m; ext. H 1.2m) is all that survives of a circular enclosure (diam. approx. 25m) which is depicted on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map. Not visible at ground level.
