Enclosure

What is recorded here

This record was formerly listed as a Barrow - Group in the SMR (1990). However, following a site inspection by the South-west Kerry Archaeological Survey (O'Sullivan and Sheehan 1996) and according to their files, these features, although similar in morphology to ring-barrows, are fionnán enclosures. Compiled by: Elizabeth Byrne, Ursula Egan and Sheila Ronan, Archaeological Survey Unit, University College, Cork. Date of upload: 30 May 2011

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
