In marshy pasture on an E-facing slope overlooked by higher ground to the E with good views, c. 140m E of the Knocknaskeagh River. Partially depicted on the 1916 OS 6-inch map as a curved field boundary. A subcircular enclosure (diam. 23m) defined by a low partly overgrown earthen scarp (H 0.1-0.2m) N-W and by an intermittent bank (H 0.1m; Wth 1m) from W to N. The fosse is visible as a shallow depression covered in rushes (Wth 4-6m). The interior is level with no visible features. An earthen field boundary crosses the monument at the NW.
