What is recorded here
In pasture on the summit of a low rise with good views c. 35m S of a stream. Not indicated on the 1840 or 1916 OS 6-inch maps. Not listed in the RMP (1996). Visible on Google Earth imagery (20 March 2020). An enclosure comprising a flat circular area (diam. c. 25m) defined by a low scarp. On inspection in 1998 dense vegetation encircling the area suggested the former presence of a fosse.
