What is recorded here
In a recently reseeded arable field SE-N and ENE-sector in pasture, at base of a very gentle E-facing slope. Access not gained. Depicted on latest edition OS 6-inch map as an oval area (dims. c. 30m E-W; c. 27m N-S) truncated by field boundary (long-axis NW-SE) across ENE-sector. Monument obscured by dense wall of impenetrable vegetation, fosse is waterlogged and interior appears densely overgrown and is planted with conifers and ash.
