Enclosure in Kilmacteige

In pasture, on the lower southern slopes of the Ox Mountains, c. 150m to W of the Lenane River. Indicated on the 1914 OS 6-inch map by an arc of hachures SE-SW, in the N corner of a field, abutting a road at SW and a field boundary at SE. Evident as an arc of scarp (C 30m; H 1m) E-SW, possibly the remains of a circular enclosure.
