Enclosure

What is recorded here

Situated in flat field of reclaimed pasture with good views in all directions. Identified from aerial photographs (Bruff Survey: Map 15, no 26.04; 4/3728) as a 'subciecular ditched enclosure, c. 40m x 40m' (Doody 2008, 130); the morphology indicating that it may be Bronze Age in date (ibid.). The monument has been levelled and is now evident as a slight circular depression (diam. 17.8m N-S; D 0.1m). Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 5 November 2013
