What is recorded here
Killeek, County Dublin, Ireland. The enclosure sits elevated, commanding extensive views while a local tradition claims a hidden fort beneath the soil. Poly tunnels once occupied the ground before abandonment, but the older shape remains invisible at surface level. The land may still hold the ghost of that forgotten fort, waiting for someone to notice what the soil remembers.
Situated in an elevated position enjoying extensive views. There is a tradition of a 'fort' at this site (Healy 1975, 24). Had been in use for poly tunnels, now abandoned. Not visible at ground level.
