In an upland area. A circular area (diam. c. 25.8m) defined by a bank (Wth c. 2.5m; int. H c. 0.2m, ext. H c. 0.8m) and slight remains of a fosse. No evidence of original entrance. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
