Enclosure in Keadeen

Situated on the marked W-facing lower slopes of Keadeen Mountain. Roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 200m) defined by a collapsed stone wall (Wth 2-5m) with some evidence for an inner and outer revetment of boulders. There are two definite entrances flanked by slabs at the E and SE. The E gap (Wth 2.25m) has external flankers forming a funnelled entrance. The entrance (Wth 1.1m) at the SSE is flanked by radial slabs. In the N sector of the interior, 16m inside the enclosing wall, a circular hut (int. diam. 7m) is defined by a stone wall with inner and outer boulder revetments. There is a standing stone (WI027-043002-) in the centre of the enclosure beside a small stream flowing N-S through the site.
