Enclosure in Inchincoosh

In rough hill pasture, on the terrace of a W-facing slope. A rectangular area (5.4m E-W; 1.5m N-S) defined by a drystone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.2m). Only traces of the drystone wall are visible along the E side. Though of similar construction to a turf stand there is no evidence of peat in the interior. There is a hut site (KE085-039003-) c. 60m to the NNE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
