Enclosure in Inchincoosh

In pasture, on a terrace at the base of a rock scarp, on a S-facing slope. A rectangular enclosure (6.3m E-W; 2.9m N-S) open on the E side and defined by a collapsed drystone wall (H 0.1-0.5m) on the S, W and N sides. The interior is grass-covered. The construction of the enclosure is similar to that of a turf stand, yet there is little or no peat cover on these rocky slopes. There is a hut site (KE085-022003-) c. 40m to the W.
