What is recorded here

In dense moor-grass, on the SW-facing slopes of Knockantooreen. The faint outline of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 70m) is visible on an aerial photograph (GSIAP, W 26-25) taken in May 1973. There are no visible remains of this enclosure at ground level. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
