On low rise of ground on poorly drained pasture in undulating countryside with adjacent Cauteen River to N and moated site (TS051-028----) c. 50m to NW. Raised circular platform (diam. SE-NW 21m; E-W 25m) enclosed by a low poorly preserved earthen bank (base Wth 9m; top Wth 2.5m; ext. H 1.5m; int. H 0.35m) mainly reduced to a scarp, fosse (Wth 4-5m; ext. D 0.7-1m) with partial remains of an external bank (Wth 3m; ext. H 0.3m) visible from SE to S and at NW. No clear entrance feature visible and very wet interior.
