Situated on a rise of ground overlooking a ravine with a stream to the N. Depicted as a large circular enclosure (diam. c. 37m) on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map.The barely discernible outline of a destroyed enclosure visible in places only. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
