Glanmane holds a broken stone ring beside an older clochán, overlooking Tralee Bay through a steep valley entrance. Sheep still graze the thin peat and heather above the stones, reducing human intention to a faint circular shadow on the slope. The enclosure may have marked a household, a shrine or a boundary, but its meaning has worn as smooth as the bay fog. What remains is a small circle of attention, waiting someone to notice it before the hill takes back the shape.

Situated on steep E facing slope near the entrance to a N-S valley with extensive views N to Tralee Bay. The land use is rough grazing for sheep with exposed rock outcrops, thin peat cover and heather. To the W of a clochán (KE036-104----) and further up-slope are the remains of poorly preserved sub-circular shaped enclosure (dims. 4m N-S x 3.5m E-W) defined by a very denuded single broken ring of stones.
