Enclosure in Gearhanagoul

In rough hill pasture, on a S-facing slope, in the valley of the Coomeelan stream. A roughly circular area (9.6m E-W; 8.5m N-S) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.65m; H 0.6m) which is best preserved W-N. The lower courses protrude above the surface of the bog. A break (Wth 1.5m) at W may indicate an entrance. There is a hut site (KE103-024002-) in the S sector and there is another hut site (KE103-024003-) c. 40m to the W.
