Situated on a prominent rise, in gently undulating pasture, with extensive views to SE and good views elsewhere. Depicted on the revised 1913 ed. OS 25-inch map as a D-shaped enclosure (WM026-093002-) conjoined with a large circular-shaped enclosure to N. A rectangular-shaped enclosure or bailey (WM026-093001-) adjoins the larger enclosure to W. Levelled monument described in 1971 as a D-shaped area (dims. 28m NNE-SSW; 22.5m WNW-ESE) defined by a very slight earthen bank.
