What is recorded here

Situated on a prominent rise, in gently undulating pasture, with extensive views to SE and good views elsewhere. Depicted on the revised 1913 ed. OS 25-inch map as a rectangular-shaped area or bailey adjoining a large circular-shaped enclosure (WM026-093----) to E, which is also conjoined to a small D-shaped enclosure (WM026-093002-) to S. Levelled monument described in 1971 as a rectangular-shaped area (dims. 42.5m NNE-SSW; 16.4m WNW-ESE) defined by a broad band (Wth 6.6m) of differential growth along the SSW, WNW and NNE sides which has a subtle difference in colour to the background colour of the surrounding field.
