According to O'Kelly (1969, 180) in Dundaryark townland, 'A rath here was levelled some years ago'. There is no indication of an enclosure in this townland on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map or on the 1947 revision. The precise location of this 'rath' within the townland is unknown.
