What is recorded here

Situated in lowlying, poorly-drained, level pasture. Not marked on the 1837 edition of the OS edition of the 6-inch map. Slightly raised oblong area (51m WNW-ESE; 15.5m NNE-SSW) enclosed by a narrow, low bank (Wth 1.2m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.5m) of earth and stone. Original entrance not recognisable. Roughly centrally located within the enclosed area is a hut site (SL017-003002-) whilst approx. 40m N is another possible hut site (see SL017-003003-). Compiled by: Patrick F.
