What is recorded here

Some 50m NE of a castle (GA070-065001-). Poorly preserved circular enclosure (D c. 13.6m) defined by a low earthen bank. A gap at SSE appears modern. Traces of earthen banks abut the monument at NW, E and SW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
