Enclosure in Derryclogher

On a terrace on a S-facing boggy slope in Derryclogher valley. An oval area (12m N-S; 9m E-W) is defined by the remains of a stone wall (T 0.65m; max. H 0.5m) protruding above the surface of the bog. The interior is level, except for the N upsloping fern-covered quadrant, where the enclosing element is best preserved. Field boundaries (CO079-004002-) extend to the SW from this enclosure to the area beyond a second enclosure (CO079-004003-) which lies c. 90m to the SW.
