Located on the N bank of the Cummeenduff river, this subcircular enclosure, not marked on the OS maps, is preserved as a sod-covered stony bank, .6m high, enclosing an area 8.5m in diameter.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 730. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
