What is recorded here
Kinahan (1879-88, 157) describes an enclosure on a NE-facing slope at Cummerduff that is probably post-medieval as a D-shaped area (dims. c. 26m N-S; c. 11m E-W) probably defined by stone walls. It was approached from the E by a stone path (L c. 35m; Wth c. 2m). Its precise location is not known, but it was on NE-facing slope in Cummerduff, c. 100m SW of the unlocated kiln (WX002-045----), with enclosure (WX002-047----) to its NE.
