What is recorded here

Enclosure in Corbally (bunratty Upper By.) is a subrectangular earthwork on a low pasture rise, measured 38.3m NW-SE and 39m SW-NE, with its NE edge hidden inside an overgrown field boundary. Two ringforts sit immediately to the NE, suggesting a small cluster of occupied or defended places rather than a lone boundary. The shape may have marked a homestead, a ritual ground or a boundary for pasture, but no surviving account says which.
