The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.

Aerial photographs (CUCAP AYK 91-3; GSI S 278) show faint cropmark of roughly circular feature, possibly an enclosure defined by fosse (max. diam. c. 20m). The least visible or defined of four enclosures (see also CW019-042----; CW019-078----; CW019-079----) identified as cropmarks in close proximity.
