The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Aerial photographs (CUCAP AYK 91-3; GSI S 278) show cropmarks of circular area defined by broad bank and external fosse (diam. c. 50m). One of four enclosures (CW019-080---- c. 10m to NNE; CW019-078---- c. 10m to S; CW019-042---- c. 80m to the S) visible as cropmarks in close proximity.
